Signage and Wayfinding

All public realm projects should be developed to align with the Ebbsfleet Public Realm Strategy.

The objective is to ensure appropriate signage and wayfinding information is incorporated into the public realm in appropriate locations to support walking, cycling and public transport, without cluttering the street. A suite of wayfinding furniture has been developed for use in public realm projects;

  • Hub Information Points

  • Bus Information Points

  • Pedestrian Information Points

  • Cyclist Information points

  • Cycle-route Markers

  • Trail markers

  • Fingerposts

  • Exploration Points

The map to the right sets out the concept placement strategy for wayfinding furniture. Refer to the Ebbsfleet Wayfinding Strategy document for further information on where wayfinding furniture should be incorporated.
